Explicitation in the Translation of English Shrt Stories into Kurdish
Expliciation as a universal of translation occurs in translation sometimes intentionally by the translator but other times it happens subconsciously. Its usage is useful for demystifying items that might not be clear to the readership of the target language.
It is a book written on the genocide that befell Yazidies in 2014; it captures the sufferings of survivors and the agony the experienced while having the rest of their family members in the captivity of ISIS. I have had this book translated into English.
