Research objective: Knowing the role of quality engineering in supports green in chemical industry companies that have obtained environmental approval in the Independent Administrations/ Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Research Methodology: The research adopted the descriptive analytical approach, as it is characterized by flexibility in collecting data from multiple sources, allowing adaptation to the nature of the data and research conditions, which enhances the reliability of the results and contributes to providing practical recommendations based on scientific foundations. Research community and sample: The research community was represented by the chemical industry companies that obtained environmental approval in the independent administrations/Kurdistan Region of Iraq that were studied and represented by the administrations (Zakho, Soran, Raparin and Garmiyan). The research sample included all unit managers, numbering (175) Person, as (175) questionnaires were distributed to the intentional sample, and (147) were retrieved, while the number of valid questionnaires for statistical analysis was (137), thus the response rate was (84%). Statistical tools used: The program (SPSS Ver. 27) was used to analyze the data collected by the questionnaire, and to use statistical methods related to analyzing the research hypothesis test. Key research findings: Quality engineering and its dimensions have a positive and direct impact on green operations in chemical industry companies that have obtained environmental approval. Key research recommendations: The management of the companies studied must consider green logistics activities for both forward and reverse logistics in the production chain for environmental safety.
