Alarqam obtained his BSc in Chemistry in 2008, then it was followed by a MSc. from the University of Mosul in 2011. In 2022, he joined to Professor Wayne Hayes group in Chemistry Department at University of Reading/ United Kingdom to complete his PhD study in the supramolecular polymer. The focus of his research project is the synthesis and study of novel self-healing supramolecular polyurethane networks. These materials are targeted towards applications as new adhesives, surface coatings, self-healing, and 3D printing .
