In addition to prepare the liquid crystals compounds and study their physical properties by using range of techniques such as Differentinal Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Polarising Optical Microscopy (POM), miscibility mixture, deuterium NMR spectroscopy (DNMR) and X-ray scattering.
