The current research aims to identify the level of future anxiety among the wives of martyrs. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher relied on the (Jaber, 2012) scale. The apparent validity was extracted by presenting the scale to a group of experts in the Department of Psychology. The number of paragraphs of the scale became (42) paragraphs. The reliability was also extracted by the split-half method. As for the research community, it included the wives of martyrs. A sample was chosen randomly, as the research sample consisted of (40) women. After analyzing the data, the results indicated that there is a level of future anxiety among the wives of martyrs. There were significant differences in future anxiety among the wives of martyrs according to the family variable and in favor of the separated. There were no differences in the level of future anxiety among the wives of martyrs according to age and number of children. Based on these results, the researcher directed some recommendations to the relevant (specialized) authorities and some suggestions for future researchers. Keywords: Future anxiety, Martyrs' wives

This study aims to test the effectiveness of a psychological program in enhancing psychological resilience among abused women in the Domiz refugee camp in Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The research employed an experimental one-group design (pre-test/post-test) with a purposive sample of abused women. Results showed that participants before the program implementation suffered from low levels of psychological resilience compared to the hypothetical mean of the scale, reflecting the impact of violence, psychological trauma, and refugee conditions on their ability to adapt. After implementing the psychological program, the results demonstrated a significant statistical improvement in psychological resilience levels among the sample members, confirming the effectiveness of the applied psychological program. The findings also indicated a significant decrease in cortisol levels, suggesting improved physiological indicators related to psychological stress. These results emphasize the importance of structured psychological interventions based on scientific foundations in helping abused women recover from the effects of violence and trauma, and highlight the necessity of generalizing such programs in refugee camps and institutions caring for abused women, considering them part of preventive and therapeutic strategies to address psychological and social challenges.

Social media addiction is a growing concern among adolescents worldwide, with potentially serious impacts on psychological health, academic performance, and social relationships. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a psychological program designed to reduce social media addiction among tenth-grade students in Duhok Governorate, Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The study employed a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test measurements. The sample consisted of 23 tenth-grade students (aged 15 years and above) who exhibited high levels of social media addiction according to a validated scale. The intervention was a 12-session psychological program based on cognitive-behavioral approaches, delivered twice weekly for 45 minutes per session. The program incorporated techniques such as self-control training, rational thinking skills, time management, relaxation exercises, and positive reinforcement strategies. Data were collected using the Social Media Addiction Scale (Younis, 2016) and analyzed using t-tests and Cohen's effect size calculations. Findings revealed that participants had high levels of social media addiction at baseline (M=64.52, SD=5.17), significantly higher than the hypothetical mean (t=4.18, p<0.05). Following the intervention, there was a statistically significant decrease in addiction levels (M=53.43, SD=10.13; t=5.24, p<0.05), with a large effect size (Cohen's d=1.09). The results indicate that the psychological program was effective in reducing social media addiction among the participants. The study demonstrates that structured psychological interventions based on cognitive and behavioral approaches can effectively reduce social media addiction among adolescents. The findings suggest that implementing similar programs in educational settings could be beneficial in addressing the growing problem of social media addiction among students, particularly in regions where digital literacy education and awareness about risks of excessive social media use are limited. The current study aimed to Identify the relationship between suggestibility and teaching efficiency among university lecturers from students’ views at University of Zakho. To reveal the level of suggestibility and teaching efficiency among students according to their view point also finding the difference between the level of students regarding the scale of suggestibility according to gender and grade. There was a negative correlation according to both variables. To indicate the aims of the study researchers relied on the scale of ( Hamza,2016 ) about suggestibility consists (28) items about suggestibility and (24) items are divided into two fields first, (12) items for teaching efficiency and (12) items for personality efficiency. SPSS was used to find the results of the study. The finding of the study indicated that the lecturers’ performance was low according student's viewpoint at University of Zakho. There was statistically no difference according to gender and specialization just there was statistically different according to grade and the level was higher among forth year grade. Finally, according to the results of the study the researcher is given several implications and suggestions for further studies. Keywords: suggestibility and teaching efficiency

ABSTRACT The current study aimed to identify the level of future optimism among students of the College of Education, specializing in Physical Education and Sports Sciences, and to determine the significance of differences based on specific demographic variables (gender, residence, marital status). Additionally, the study aimed to construct a psychological counseling program for the sample individuals. The research sample consisted of 39 male and female students selected purposively. The study employed descriptive and experimental methodologies, and SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) was used to analyze the data. The results indicated a low level of future optimism, with no significant differences observed in the sample attributed to demographic variables or the effectiveness of the psychological counseling program. Based on the findings, recommendations, and suggestions were presented after the study. The study highlights the importance of fostering future optimism among university students, particularly in physically demanding disciplines, to promote their overall well-being and resilience. This research aims to identify the efficiency of a psychological cognitive-behavioral program for developing psychosocial integration among ISIS survivors. For achieving this objective, the researchers have applied the cognitive-behavioral theory. The number of sessions for psychosocial integrating reached 12 sessions, in which psychometric properties showed face validity by presenting the scale to a group of experts in the Department of Psychology in a number of universities. Thus the number of required items reached (46) items. The reliability has been achieved by using Cronbach's Alpha method; Also, the experimental method was applied on an experimental group with pre-post measures in which the research sample includes twenty survivors. After having analyzed the data statistically, the results show a difference between sample average scores in the assessment of pre-post measures for psychosocial experiment in favor of post experiment. This indicates the program had a positive impact on the development of psychosocial integration of the survivors and statistically, there is no significant difference in the average of survivors in terms of for psychosocial integration according to the variables (educational level, stay in ISIS captivity, family membership order, and financial situation). Finally, the researchers have suggested few recommendations for the concerned authorities and topics for further discussion.

ملخص البحث : يرى علماء النفس ان توافق الفـرد نفسيا واجتماعياً من اهم مؤشرات الصحة النفسية , ويشير التوافق الى علاقة منـسجمة بـين الفـرد والبيئة التي يعيش بها , فيستطيع الفرد من خلالها إشباع حاجاته النفسية والاجتماعية ,وأن البيئة الأسرية والاجتماعية هي العالم الفعّال في تحقيق التوافق النفـسي الاجتماعي للفـرد نظـرا لطبيعـة التعاملات والعلاقات داخل الأسرة التي تنعكس بدورها على التوافق النفسي للفرد خارج أسرته في المجتمع الذي يعيش فيه , وقد تم ايلاء هذه المتغيرات اهتماما كبيرا من قبل الباحثين ولاسيما لدى الافراد الذين تعرضوا الى الصدمات و الابادات , وقد اختار الباحثان الناجيات الايزيديات من اسر داعش عينة للبحث الحالي حيث لاحظو من خلال عملهم مع بعض المنظمات مدى معاناة اولئك الناجيات . ولتحقيق أهداف البحث اعتمد الباحثان على مقياس للتوافق النفسي الاجتماعي ل ( عمر 2021) الذي تالف بصيغته النهائية من 36 فقرة وكانت أدوات البحث مستوفية للمنهجية المعتمدة في المقاييس النفسية من حيث الصدق والثبات.وتضمن مجتمع البحث النساء والفتيات الناجيات الايزيديات من اسر داعش واللواتي يعشنّ في المخيمات في محافظة دهوك باقليم كوردستان – العراق وكان عدد الناجيات (30) ناجية تم تطبيق مقياس البحث عليهنّ بعد اخذ الموافقات الاصولية منهنّ . وبعد معالجة البيانات إحصائياً باستخدام الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية. (SPSS ( أظهرت نتائج البحث ما ياتي : o بان يوجد اختلاف بين مستوى التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي لدى الناجيات الايزيديات . o عدم وجود فرق دال احصائيا بين المتزوجات والغير متزوجات في مقياس التوافق النفسي الاجتماعي لدى الناجيات الايزيديات. o هناك فرق دال احصائيا بين الناجيات الايزديات حسب الفئات العمرية لصالح الفئة العمرية الاكبر من 31 فما فوق . وبالاعتماد على هذه النتائج قام الباحثان بتوجيه بعض توصيات للجهات المعنية (المختصة) وبعض مقترحات للبحوث مستقبلا .

The effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral psychological program for developing psychosocial integration among ISIS survivors Research summary the aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral psychological program for developing psychosocial integration among ISIS survivors. The stability was also extracted by Alpha Cronbach’s method, the researchers used the experimental method through one experimental group with two pre and post tests, the research sample included women (20) survivors, after analyzing the data, the results of the research indicated that there is a difference between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre and post tests of psychosocial integration and in favor of the post test, which indicates that the program had a positive impact on the development of psychosocial integration among the survivors, and there was no a statistically significant difference between the mean differences in the scores of the research sample members in psychosocial integration according to the variables (education level , years of staying in the hands of ISIS , family hierarchy, financial condition), then the researchers made some recommendations to the concerned (competent) authorities and some suggestions for future researchers. The effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral psychological program for developing self-care among ISIS survivors. The aim of the current research is to identify the effectiveness of a cognitive-behavioral psychological program for developing self-care among ISIS survivors. To achieve the goals, the researchers built a psychological program based on the cognitive-behavioral theory, where the number of sessions reached 12 sessions . The researchers also prepared a scale about self-care, and the apparent validity was extracted by showing the scale to a group of experts in the Department of Psychology. The number of the scale items became (32) items. Also, the stability was extracted using the Alpha Cronbach method, and the researcher used the experimental method through one experimental group with two tests, pre and post tests. The results of the research that there is a difference between the mean scores of the research sample in the pre and post tests in favor of the post test, and that the program had a positive impact on the development of self-care among the survivors, and there is no statistically significant difference between the mean differences in the scores of the research sample members in self-care according to the variables (level Educational, physical condition) for the two tests, the pre and post tests, while there were statistically significant differences between the mean differences in the scores of the research sample members in self-care according to the variables (years of survival and sequencing in the family) for the two tests, then the researchers directed some recommendations to the concerned authorities (competent) and some suggestions for future researchers. Abstract The aim of the current study is about social alienation among a number of high school students in Domiz camp1 of Syrian refugees. To investigate the aim of the study the researchers depended on the scale of ( Mobarak,2011), also ensured the validity and reliability of the scale. The scale consists (20) items. The sample of the study was scientific and literary students and the number of the sample was 110 student. The participants of the study have been chosen randomly, (45) male and (65) female.  The results of the study indicated that there is no social alienation among the participants of the study.  There was no statistically significant different between gender and specializations. Finally, according to the results, the researcher have given some recommendations and suggestions for further studies.  The key words: social alienation ,Domiz camp and refuges

ترجع مشكلة البحث احلايل على أن من خالل جتربة الباحثة حيث اهنا الحظت أن لدى طلبة املدارس االعدادية تصور سليب عن أنفسهم وعن احلياة املدرسية بصورة خاصة، و قد يرجع هذا التصور اىل تغري سليب يف األنظمة القيمية لديهم، لذلك؛ هتدف البحث احلايل التعرف على التسلس للمتغريات ً ل الطبيعي للقيم لدى طلبة املدارس للمرحلة االعدادية يف مركز قضاء زاخو والتعرف على الفروق تبعا )اجلنس،احلالة االقتصادية و االجتماعية و الثقافية للعائلة، هل أن الوالدين على قيد احلياة أم ال، و حمل السكن ،وحجم االسرة(، وتكونت عينة البحث من ً )172 )ط حيث اختريوا ابلطريقة العشوائية يف مدارس االعدادية، وأعتمدت الباحثة ال )مقياس العاملي للروكيش( هلذا الغرض، واملؤلفة ٍب و طالبة من )63 )قيمة ، ومت استخراج اخلصائص السيكومرتية، ولغرض معاجلة البياانت املستخرجة، مت استخدام الوسائل االحصائية املناسبة، وتبني ان القيمة احلرية ضمن القيم الغائية و قيمة الصداقة ضمن القيم الوسيلية حصلو على التسلسل األول، كما و بينت النتائج بوجود ديناميكية القيم حسب متغريات الدراسة، وعلى ضوء ذلك قدمت الباحثة جمموعة من التوصيات للجهات املعنية واملقرتحات للبحوث مستقبال .

واقع الصحة النفسية لدى طلبة فاكلتي التربية في ضوء بعض المتغيرات- دراسة مقارنة –جامعة زاخو

يهدف البحث الحالي الى التعرف على واقع الصحة النفسية لدى طلبة فاكلتي التربية في جامعة زاخو في إقليم كوردستان والتعرف على الفروق في الاتجاه تبعاً لمتغيرات: (الجنس، القسم، المرحلة، عدد أفراد الأسرة، وضعية حياة الوالدين، و مستوى الأقتصادي للعائلة)، وتألفت مجتمع البحث من (312)، وكانت وعينة البحث مكونة من (83) طالب و طالبة من قسمي علم النفس العام و التربية الرياضية، و اختيروا بطريقة عشوائية، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدم الباحثان مقياس كولدبيرغ للصحة النفسية المؤلف من(60) فقرة، وتم استخراج الخصائص السيكومترية لها، وبعد استخدام الوسائل الاحصائية المناسبة، أظهرت النتائج وجود نوع من الاضطرابات النفسية لدى طلبة فاكلتي التربية في جامعة زاخو و مستوى منخفض من التمتع بالصحة النفسية لديهم، كما و أظهرت النتائج بعدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين واقع و مستوى الصحة النفسية لدى طلبة فاكلتي التربية في جامعة زاخو وفقاَ لمتغيرات الجنس والقسم العلمي للطلبة وعدد أفراد أسرهم و الحالة الحياتية لوالديهم ( اذا على قيد الحياة ام لا) والحالة الاقتصادية للعائلة، وكان هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى الصحة النفسية لدى طلبة فاكلتي التربية في جامعة زاخو وفقاً لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية ولصالح المرحلة الاولى. وفي ضوء النتائج قام الباحثان بوضع بعض توصيات للجهات المعنية ومقترحات للبحوث مستقبلا الكلمات المفتاحية: الصحة النفسية، فاكلتي التربية، دراسة مقارنة.

Thecurrent-research-aims-to- identify -Emotional blackmail-and-its-relationship-to-some-change-among-students-of-the-University-of-Zakho The current research aims to investigate Emotional blackmail and its relationship to some change among students of the University of Zakho, and also to identify plain differences between the grades of students in the University of Zakho according to Emotional blackmail scale based on gender difference, specialization, marital status (engaged or married), as well as school stage. In order to achieve the research goals, the researchers relied on (Chung-chu Liu. 2010) scale for Emotional blackmail, the scale consists of (20) sections. The scale accuracy has been approved by presenting it to some of the arbitrators at the University of Zakho, after editing the scale, it's became in its final stages, and consists of 20 sections. The translation was extracted to be clear for the research transparency, as for persistence, the half-tick method was used. The SPSS statistical package has been used to analyze data. The results indicated that the degree of Emotional blackmail among students of the University of Zakho was increased. according to the scale of Emotional blackmail based on the gender difference, it was in female favour , there are statistically significant differences among the students who have average grades. Moreover, for the marital status, the differences were in favour of married couples. While for the (literary and scientific) students no change has been identified. Also no differences have seen in student according to their study stages. In the light of the results, the researchers have developed some recommendations to investigators and offered them proposals for further future researches

هدف البحث الحالي إىل التعرف على التوجه حنو الحياة لدى طلبة مدارس املرحلة اإلعدادية يف مركز قضاء زاخو وعالقته ببعض املتغريات االجتماعية و الثقافية والتعرف على الفروق تبعا للمتغريات )اجلنس، واملرحلة الدراسية ، واحلالة االقتصادية، و مستوى التعليمي للوالدين، وحمل السكن وهل الوالدين " على قيد احلياة ، أوال "(، وتألفت عينة البحث من )271 )طالب و طالبة اختريوا بطريقة عشوائية. أعتمد الباحثون مقياس جاهز ) ليونتيف، 1992 )لتوجه حنو احلياة ، واملؤلفة من )20 )فقرة مزدوجة ، ومت ترمجتها و استخراج الخصائص السيكومرتية هلا، ومت استخدام التكرارات، والرتتيب التنازلي، واألوساط احلسابية، واإلحنرافات املعيارية، والقيمة التائية لعينة الواحدة، والقيمة التائيةلعينتني مستقلتني، وحتليل التباين. وأشارت النتائج اىل وجود توجه إجيابي حنو احلياة لدى غالبية أفراد عينة البحث مع عدم وجود فروق ذا داللة إحصائية يف متغري اجلنس و املرحلة الدراسية و حمل السكن و وضع الوالدين ) على قيد احلياة ، أو متويف (. كما تبيّن أن توجهات أفراد األسر اليت تتمتع بوضع اقتصادي جيد حنو احلياة اجيابية أكثر من غريها، وكذلك عندما يكون كال الوالدين متعلمني. على ضوء ذلك قدم الباحثون جمموعة من التوصيات واملقرتحات. الكلمات الدالة: التوجه حنو احلياة، طلبة مدارس املرحلة اإلعدادية، قضاء زاخو، التعرف على املتغريات االجتماعية والثقافية.

الشعور بالاغتراب النفسي وعلاقته بإستخدام الانترنت لدى طلبة جامعة زاخو

هدف البحث الى التعرف على الشعور باإلغتراب النفسي وعالقته بإستخدام اإلنترنت لدى طلبة جامعة زاخو إعتمادا على متغير الجنس والمرحلة الدراسية والقسم الدراسي والسكن الجامعي ، من خالل تطبيق مقياس الشعور باإلغتراب النفسي وإستبانة إستخدام اإلنترنت على عينة مؤلفة من )157 )طالب وطالبة من المراحل واالختصاصات المختلفة، واظهرت المعالجات االحصائية إلى أن )44.15 ) %من المجموع اإلجمالي ألفراد عينة البحث يشعرون باإلغتراب النفسي في مقابل ) 56.84 )%منهم ال يشعرون بذلك.وتبيين أن )92 )%من إجمالي أفراد عينة البحث يستخدمون اإلنترنت.كما أظهرت النتائج عن وجود عالقة طردية بين الذين يستخدمون اإلنترنت والذين يشعرون باالغتراب النفسي بما يتاح من األجهزة وبين الذين يستخدمونها لفترات أ كثر من ثالث ساعات في اليوم الواحد والذين يستخدمونها ألغراض غير جتماعية و الذين يستخدمونها في مجاالت التسلية وأمور الرياضة أو لغرض الدراسة. كما توصلت البحث بأن العالقات اال إستخدام أفراد عينة البحث لإلنترنت لم يؤدي الى التحسن في شعورهم باإلغتراب النفسي باتجاه افراد أسرهم وأصدقائهم ذين يشعرون باإلغتراب النفسي ان إلى تحسن في وأقربائهم. كما لم يؤد استخدام ما بين )45%الى 65 )%لإلنترنت من ال ذين يشعرون شعورهم عن مدى تقبلهم من قبل أفراد اسرهم وأصدقائهم وأقربائهم .في حين ان حوالي )40)%من ال باإلغتراب النفسي أن استخدامهم لإلنترنت قد أ ثرت سلبيا على التزامهم بالعادات االجتماعية, وأن )30 )%منهم يشعرون أن مدى اهتمامهم بمشاعر اآلخرين قد ق ل, وأن )25 )%منهم يشعرون أن مدى تعاونهم مع اآلخرين قد قل, وأن نسبة )30 %( منهم يشعرون ان أداء مسؤلياتهم االجتماعية تجاه اآلخرين قد قل .وأيضا أن حوالي)50 )%منهم يشعرون بأنه بعد استخدامهم لإلنترنت قلل من نشاطاتهم االجتماعية في محيطهم االجتماعي.

الملخص: هدفت الدراسة الى التعرف على الخصائص الشخصية المفضلة في اختيار شريك الحياة من طلبة جامعة زاخو في اقليم كوردستان العراق، اعتمادا على متغير الجنس والمرحلة الجامعية والتخصص العلمي، من خلال تطبيق استبيان الخصائص الشخصية (الجسمية، الانفعالية، العاطفية، الفكرية، الاجتماعية)المفضلة في اختيار شريك الحياة الزوجية . وقد طبق على عينة مؤلفة من (206 (طالبا وطالبة من المراحل المختلفة والاختصاصات المختلفة، وأثبتت المعالجات الاحصائية ما يلي:  بان الخصائص الاجتماعية سبقت الخصائص الاخرى بفارقكبير بين الطلبة في اختيار شريك الحياة  عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة معنوية بين الذكور والإناث في الخصائص الشخصية المفضلة في اختيار شريك الحياة إلا في الخصائص الانفعالية فهي ذات دلالة معنوية لصالح الاناث  وجود فروق ذات دلالة معنوية ، حسب المرحلة الجامعية في الخصائص الاجتماعية في اختيار شريك الحياة الزوجية ، لصالح طلبة المرحلة الجامعية الاولى.  عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة في الخصائص الشخصية المفضلة نحو اختيار شريك الحياة الزوجية حسب التخصص العلمي. الكلمات المفتاحية: خصائص الشخصية المفضلة، شريك الحياة الزوجية، طلبة جامعة زاخو، اقليم كوردستان العراق.

Psychologists consider the integration of the individual psychologically and socially in his social environment and the individual’s self-care is the most important indicators of mental health. integration refers to a harmonious relationship between the individual and the environment he lives in, the individual can satisfy his psychological and social needs, then the family and social environment is the effective world in achieving the psychosocial integration of the individual due to the nature of the handlings and interactions within the family, which in turn reflects on the psychological integration of the individual outside his family into the society he lives in. These variables have been given countless attention by researchers, especially among individuals who have been suffering from trauma. The researcher has selected ISIS survivors as a sample for undertaking this dissertation as their hardships were noticeable during researcher’s work with some organizations. The self-concept and self-care constitute one of the dimensions of mental health. Self-care refers to the individual’s awareness of his being and then caring for it, self-development occurs because of maturity and learning, so the positive self-concept is a manner of the individual’s self-esteem, appreciation, and caring for oneself. Then self-realization, also, it reflects on his behavior either positively or negatively. This indicates the extent in which an individual relishes mental health. The researcher in this dissertation aims to identify the following: 1- The levels of psychosocial integration and self-care for the Yazidi survivors as a whole then extracting the significance of the differences between the arithmetic averages in terms of their hypothetical averages before applying the cognitive psychological program behavioral. 2- The levels of psychosocial integration of the Yazidi survivors as a whole according to the demographic variables (educational level, years of stay in the hands of ISIS, the sequence of the survivor in the family, financial status, marital status, age, number of children) then extracting the significance of the differences between the arithmetic averages in terms of their hypothetical averages before applying the cognitive psychological program behavioral 3- The levels of self-care among Yazidi survivors as a whole according to the demographic variables (educational level, years of stay in the hands of ISIS, the sequence of the survivor in the family, financial status, marital status, age, number of children) then extracting the significance of the differences between the arithmetic averages in terms of their hypothetical averages before applying the cognitive psychological program behavioral. 4- The levels of psychosocial integration and self-care of the Yazidi survivors as a whole then extracting the significance of the differences between the arithmetic averages and the hypothesis after applying the cognitive-behavioral psychological program. 5- The levels of psychosocial integration of the survivors as a whole and according to the demographic variables (educational level, years of stay in the hands of ISIS, family member sequence, financial status, marital status, age, number of children) then extracting the significance of the differences after applying the cognitive-behavioral psychological program. 6- The levels of self-care among the Yazidi survivors as a whole according to the demographic variables (educational level, years of stay in the hands of ISIS, family member sequence, financial status, marital status, age, number of children) and extracting the significance of the differences after applying the cognitive-behavioral psychological program. 7- The researcher also aims to verify the null and alternative hypotheses of the dissertation, from which the null hypothesis refers to: A- There are no statistically significant differences in the average scores between the pre and post-tests of the psychosocial integration variable. That is, there is no effect of the cognitive-behavioral program on the development of psychosocial integration. B- There are no statistically significant differences in the average scores of the survivors between the two tests, pre and post tests for the self-care variable, that is, there is no significant effect of the cognitive-behavioral program on the development of self-care. C- As for the alternative hypothesis in both cases, it indicates there is a significant effect of the cognitive-behavioral program on the development of psychosocial integration and self-care among the Yazidi survivors, meaning there are statistically significant differences between the two tests, the pre-test and the post-test, in favor of the post-test. 8- The correlation between psychosocial integration and self-care before and after applying the program. To achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher prepared two scales, one of them is for psychosocial integration, which in its final form consisted of (46)items, and the other for self-care having (32)items. The researcher also prepared a cognitive-behavioral psychological program based on the cognitive-behavioral theory, where the number of sessions with a sample of survivors reached (24) sessions after presenting the program to a group of specialized experts in this field. The research community included women and girls who survived ISIS families and who live in camps in the Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq. The number of survivors in Qadia camp were (86) survivors. Qadia camp for the displaced from Shingal city was identified as a model because the residents of Qadia camp from the villages of Kojo and Tel Azir are the most affected, where they were tortured and killed by ISIS terrorists, and then they were displaced to several areas. The basic research sample consisted of (20) survivors from Qadia camp, who were subjected to the conditions of participation with them in the sessions after obtaining the fundamental approvals from them After processing the data statistically using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS(1)), the results of the research showed the following: 1- The Yazidi female survivors of ISIS families did not enjoy a significant level of psychosocial integration and self-care before applying the cognitive-behavioral program. 2- According to the demographic variables (educational level, years of staying in the hands of ISIS, family hierarchy, material condition, marital status, age, and number of children), the results showed that the Yazidi survivors do not have a significant level of psychosocial integration, which indicates that the Yazidi survivors before the implementation of the program did not enjoy integration. social psycho. 3- Also, the results showed, according to demographic variables (educational level, years of stay in the hands of ISIS, the hierarchy of the individual in the family, material condition, marital status, age, and number of children) that the Yazidi survivors do not enjoy a significant level of self-care, meaning that the Yazidi survivors before the implementation of the program did not take care of themselves. 4- The cognitive-behavioral psychological program used in this research has a positive impact on the development of psychosocial integration and self-care among Yazidi survivors. 5- There are significant differences between the arithmetic means and the hypothesis according to the demographic variables of psychosocial integration in favor of the arithmetic means after applying the program. 6- There are significant differences between the arithmetic means and the hypothesis according to the demographic variables of self-care in favor of the arithmetic means after applying the program. 7- There appeared a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the two tests in favor of the post-test, meaning that the cognitive-behavioral psychological program used in this research had a significant effect on the development of psychosocial integration and self-care for a sample of Yazidi survivors from ISIS families. 8- There is a statistically significant direct relationship between psychosocial integration and self-care among the Yazidi survivors of ISIS families after the application of the program, while this relationship did not appear statistically significant between the two variables before the application of the program, which indicates that the cognitive-behavioral program has an impact in strengthening the levels of the two variables among Therefore, in strengthening the relationship between the two variables directly and statistically, the greater the psychosocial integration of the sample, the greater their self-care. And vice versa. According to the results of the dissertation, the researcher presented a set of recommendations to the concerned parties and suggestions for researchers to conduct further studies in the future. The current aim of the research is to identify the level of self-esteem of the Yazidi survivors of ISIS captivity, and if there were statistically significant differences (dependencies, marital status, and age) and the descriptive correlational approach is followed. The sample consisted of 20 survivors from Cham Meshko camp, who were chosen randomly. To achieve the objectives of the research, the two researchers used the self-esteem scale (Tahir, 2016), which consisted of 25 items. After extracting the psychometric genes, the final form of the scale consisted of 25 items. After analyzing the data statistically through the SPSS program, the results of the research showed that the survivors had a low estimate, and there were no statistically significant differences according to the variables of marital status and age. In light of the results of the research, the researcher directed some suggestions for future research and some recommendations to the designated authorities. Keywords: self-esteem, survivor

The current research aims to identify the level of psychological trauma among children who survived ISIS captivity, as well as to identify whether there are differences in the level of psychological trauma according to the following variables (study stage and age). The descriptive approach was followed, and the sample consisted of 20 surviving children. They were chosen randomly, and to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher used the psychological trauma scale of (Ibrahim and others ,2021) and after extracting the psychometric characteristics, the scale was formed in its final form consisting of 20 items. After analyzing the data statistically through the SPSS, the results of the research showed that the surviving children do not suffer from psychological trauma in general, and there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.05) between the average degrees of psychological trauma for each of the injured. We would like to cordially invite you to the summer conference of our joined project Professional Development in Special Needs Education in Iraqi Universities (PROD-I) at our university, the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg/Germany, from 5 th to 14 th July 2023. The invitation is extended as a part of the promotional program of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the cooperation of scientists from Iraq and Germany in our project Professional Development in Special Needs Education in Iraqi Universities. I confirm that Ms Jehan Hussein Omar attended the International conference: Peace Building in Complex Times, organised by Justus Liebig University (JLU) Gießen, Germany jointly with the University of Duhok (UoD), Iraq which was held from 11-13 July 2022. The intensive 3 days conference brought together leading academics and practitioners from different continent (MENA region, Sub-Sahara Africa, Europe and Latin America) whose perspectives helped the participants gain a deeper understanding of the Geopolitical tensions, challenges for peace, and its consequences for peace and stability. During the conference, the participants engaged with legal, political, ethical, psychosocial, and historical frameworks through presentations and debates. The conference helped to foster dialogue and exchange of academic research in higher education didactic working to improve the quality and challenges of learning and teaching peace, the vital role of civil society and its approaches to peacekeeping through education and science, and challenging realities of the consequences regarding refugees and forced migration. The conference was followed by an Excursion to Weimar and Berlin. Dealing with the past was also the subject of discussion using some practical examples. The Excursion also enables cultural exchanges and the expansion of networks. Ms Jehan Hussein took part in several virtual discussion with some research institutes on policy level and other Kurdish diaspora organisations focusing on human right issues pertaining to the Kurds on different regions.
