(Ph.D) Cardiac Arrhythmia Classifications by Neural Network Using ECG Features and The Effects of Ischemic-Heart Stroke
2019-08-18
The aim of this study is to achieve two major goals. The first is to find the frequency of ECG changes of in parameters (such as; Ventricular rate, PR interval, QRS duration, and QRS axis) as a cross-sectional study in Duhok governorate. The second is to find a new way to increase the accuracy percentage of classifying arrhythmia heartbeats using a new feature selection approach.

(MSc) - ASSESSMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY CHANGES OF ABDUCTOR POLLICIS BREVIS MUSCLE UNDER THE EFFECTS OF DIFFERENT PHYSICAL PARAMETERS BY USING EMG
2011-10-01
In this study, motor conduction of median nerve of abductor pollicies brevis muscle has been externally electrical activated and surface electrodes of silver –sliver chloride type are used to detect the response (latency period, duration of action potential, action potential amplitude, and action potential area).
252 subjects participated in the test; then, 50 normal volunteers selected irrespective to the gender according to the requirements of the test (all of them right handed, of normal body temperature (37 ± 1), from Erbil city residence with no complains of abnormality abductor pollicies brevis muscle and they have no history of diabetes). The volunteers selected within the age range of (30-36 years).
It has been found that the mean latency period is (3.5 ± 0.47 ms); the mean duration time is (10.3 ± 1.68 ms); the mean action potential amplitude is (10.1 ± 1.95 mV), and the mean action potential area is (50.6 ± 8.92 mVms).
In comparison with different previous works, it can be concluded that our work is agreed with the main conclusions of others in primary factors, and then our results can be used as a pioneer research to assess the efficiency of abductor pollicies brevis muscle activities during and after muscle physiotherapeutic treatment.
